Meet Dr. Sumaiya Ahmed
At Streetsville Smiles Dental, we believe exceptional dental care begins with trust, compassion, and lasting relationships. Dr. Sumaiya Ahmed is committed to providing personalized, gentle care that helps every patient feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental journey.
Dr. Ahmed earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2003 and became licensed to practice dentistry in Canada in 2017. Since then, she has been dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve healthy, confident smiles through comprehensive, patient-centered dental care.
As the owner of Streetsville Smiles Dental, Dr. Ahmed has created a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and cared for. She takes the time to listen carefully, explain treatment options clearly, and ensure every patient feels at ease.
Dr. Ahmed is a proud member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), and the Halton Peel Dental Association (HPDA).
Meet Ida Vitelli, RDH
Helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles for more than 30 years, Ida Vitelli brings extensive experience, compassion, and dedication to every appointment. She graduated from Seneca College in 1992 and has built her career around providing gentle, thorough, and personalized preventive dental care for patients of all ages.
As a valued member of the Streetsville Smiles Dental team, Ida is known for her warm, friendly approach and her ability to help patients feel comfortable, informed, and relaxed throughout their visit. She believes that education and prevention are the foundation of lifelong oral health and enjoys working closely with patients to build healthy habits that last.
Ida provides a wide range of preventive dental hygiene services, including professional cleanings, periodontal scaling, oral hygiene education, and teeth whitening. Outside the clinic, Ida enjoys playing soccer, staying active, and spending time with her beloved dogs.
